1. M.Tech (Master of Technology)

This is one of the most popular courses and the most popular choice for most of the B.Tech degree holders. As soon as the students get graduated, they keep eyeing for the best colleges to pursue their Master’s degree.
When opted for the M.Tech course, students are provided with the options to choose the fields of their interest that slightly relates to the course they pursued their undergraduate degree in. The Master’s degree is meant for the students who crave to gain expertise in their fields of interests.
Like any other UG or PG course, the candidate has to crack the entrance exam to get admitted in the M.Tech course. The most common entrance exam for M.Tech is the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). It is the national exam that is conducted in India.

The students again have options to choose their field of interest, but that has nothing to do with your B.Tech course. Here the student’s selection solely depends on what they are interested in or what they find good for themselves.
The students are required to crack the entrance exam called CAT (Common Admission Test) with a good score in order to get admissions into popular MBA colleges.
3. MS (Master of Science)
