Madurai Kamaraj University Distance Education Courses Admission 2024

Madurai Kamaraj University has been a prime center for learning and practice since its establishment in the year 1965.  It is located in the heart of the state, Tamil Nadu. Since its operation, it is recognized and funded by the Under Graduate Council of India and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Madurai Kamaraj University has also been re-accredited by NAAC with grade A. The Directorate of Distance Education was opened in 1971 and has constantly served students from all around the nation since then.  The quality of education and university popularity can be measured by its student strength which today stands to near 1.2 lakhs. Madurai Kamaraj University has also been awarded the status of “University with the potential of excellence” by the University Grants Commission. It is among the only 9 universities which were awarded such titles.

Admission Criteria

Admissions are done based on a First come First serve basis. The whole process is guided and administered by the DDE office of Madurai Kamaraj University. The admission procedure involves very basic steps and is admissions are granted purely on merit basis. Applicants have to fill out the application form and submit it online or at the university counters. Application forms for these courses can be downloaded from the university website and university counters. Several centers are opened too to guide the students through admission procedures and help them through their studies.
