IGNOU, The largest open university in India, announces admissions into IGNOU MBA Banking & Finance Programme for the session starting from July, 2024.
This programme was launched as a result of an MoU between IGNOU and IIBF in order to provide an avenue for post-graduate academic qualification for the members of the IIBF.
The mission of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, IIBF is to develop professionally qualified and competent bankers, primarily through a process of training, examinations and continuing professional development programmes.
IGNOU MBA Banking & Finance
Candidate interested in IGNOU MBA Banking & Finance Admission 2024 must match the following criteria. Admission procedure for the programme is given below.
Eligibility
candidate should satisfy the following conditions for admission:
- He/She should be a graduate of a recognized University.
- He/She should have passed the CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance,
- Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/credentials therefor by the Institute.
- He/She should have been working with the banking or financial services sector for a period of at least two years.
Note: Master’s Degree awarded without a first degree is not recognized for purposes of admission to University's academic programmes.
IGNOU MBA B&F Admission Procedure
For admission, a candidate is required to apply to the Regional Director concerned, in the application form with requisite fee and other documents, like the qualifying certificate of CAIIB. Admission will be offered to all the eligible candidates subject to a maximum limit mutually agreed upon between IGNOU and IIBF.
Student Handbook & Prospectus’ can be obtained from Registrar, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068 or from any of the IGNOU Regional Centres whose addresses are listed in the website, in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in cash or through post by sending an IPO/Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested.
Please write your name and address on the reverse of the DD/IPO and send your request to the concerned University office. The Application can also be downloaded from University website at http://www.ignou.ac.in and submitted along with a DD/IPO for Rs.500/-, in addition to the Programme fee.
