Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
The Indian Institute
of Technology is one of the finest institutions of India and is renowned for
its excellence all around the world. This institution guarantees the placement
to eligible students.
In 1946, a committee was established to
explore the setting up of technical institutions for higher education for post
war industrial development. The first IIT was established in May 1950 in
Kharagpur, West Bengal at Hijli Destination camp. Today the IIT have 16
institutes and is offering degree in under graduate, integrated post graduate
and post graduate degrees in over 25 different engineering, technology and
business subjects. Today IIT is believed, the gate of success for a student if

BHU is another public central
university, established in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malviya. It is the largest

Aligarh Muslim University
AMU is another public university
which is funded by central government of India. It was established in 1875 by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan with the name- Madrasatul
Uloom Musalmanan-e-Hind, which later changed to Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College (MAO College). It was called Aligarh Muslim University
in 1920. It offers more than 300 courses to students all over the world.
