The School of Distance Education and Learning (SODEL) was established in the year 2008-2009. After receiving the approval from DEC and the Joint Committee of AICTE-UGC-DEC, Jaipur National University started offering distance education courses.

Duration & Eligibility
Criteria
You must be a
graduate to be eligible for admission. The duration of the programme is 2
years. The MBA program from JNU is run on yearly mode i.e the term-end exams
are conducted at the end of the academic year.
Admission
Procedure
JNU SODEL conducts admissions twice every year - July and January. The interested students can fill out and submit the application forms online. The application form can be downloaded on the official website of JNU.
Students can also
purchase the application form with prospectus from any of the study centres.
The admission into the MBA program is provided based on the score in the entrance examination.

Course
Structure
As mentioned in the above section, this MBA program is organised in yearly mode and it's a 2-year course. The course is of 120 credits and consists of 22 papers.
All the fundamental business concepts are covered in the first year. Subjects like Managerial Economics, Indian Ethos and Management, Organizational Behavior, Fundamentals of Information Technology are the common courses for all the MBA specializations.
Each of the 22 papers carries 5 credits and the Research Project weighs 15 credits.
The students must
submit the 2 internal assignments before the term-end examinations. The
internal assignments carry a 30% weightage and term-end exam adds up other 70%
of marks.
Fee
Structure
Admission Fee: Rs 500/-
Programme Fee: Rs 19,500 (first year) + Rs 19,500 (second year)
Examination Fee: Rs 1800 + Rs 1800
So, the total fee for the first year will be around Rs 21,800/- and the second year is Rs 21,300/-
Apart from that, the university charges additional fees to issue certain documents. Here are the details.
Rs 1000/- for
duplicate mark sheet.
Rs 1000/- for
bonafide certificate.
Rs 750/- for issuing provisional degree certificate.
JNU does not accept any cash payments. All the fees must be paid via Demand Draft addressed at Jaipur National University, Jaipur.
