There are 15 Core Subjects, 4 electives, and 1 project in the last semester.
The program is considered equivalent to an MBA.
Young graduate or experienced working professionals can opt for this course to develop or enhance their management skills.
You should be a graduate in any discipline to be eligible for this program.
The first 3 semesters of the program is emphasized on the skills and concepts that play an important role in key areas of business and management. The fourth semester includes the concepts of specialization chosen by the student.
The PGDM program has a total of 114 credits. The Core courses contribute 90 credits and there are 15 Core courses. The 4 elective courses add up 16 credits. Project work carries 8 credits.
The project dissertation and the electives must be the specialization chosen by the candidate.
It is compulsory to successfully complete the electives (4) in the specialization subject to get a Post Graduate Diploma in the specialization chosen by the student.

IMT CDL Marks Evaluation Procedure
IMT CDL evaluation is based on Term Exams and Assignments. Assignments contribute 30 marks and the Term Exam is for 70 marks. To pass the course, the students have to score at least 40 marks (combined marks of Term Exam and Assignment)The Term End exam will have problem-solving exercises or cases and objective type questions.
At the end of each semester, the students must submit the assignments. Only the candidates who have submitted the assignments are allowed to write examinations.
The students have to secure at least 25 marks in Term Examination to be declared as Pass. All students must submit the project dissertation at the end of the fourth semester.
Selection Process
The selection for the various programs of IMT-Centre for Distance Learning is based on screening by the selection committee.
